Hello friends,
Here in New England, spring shows signs of appearing…and it snowed last night. Baby plant sprouts patiently wait on our south-facing windowsill, eager for the start of the growing season. As the air warms and the days lengthen, I am looking forward to spending more time outside. Stay tuned for announcements about Embodied Awareness in Nature events this spring / summer!
This past weekend, I had the pleasure of introducing the Alexander Technique to young musicians at the Massachusetts Suzuki Festival at Concord Academy. We pretended to be puppies, ducks, and meerkats, updated our body maps, and explored how to play with ease and confidence. The children were curious, game to learn, and engaged. I learned at least as much as they did! Thank you to the board, organizers, faculty, parents, and volunteers for a wonderful event.
I look forward to connecting with you this spring. The last Free Intro Session at the Acton Library is on March 31, the next series of Mindful Movement classes at the Rec Dept start on April 3, and I will have a table at the Acton Community Health Fair at the end of May. Please forward this email to anyone who might be interested.
Sending warmth,
Hannah
